食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊  據(jù)美國(guó)食品安全新聞網(wǎng)消息，針對(duì)近期的牛肉召回事件，美國(guó)議員DeLauro要求農(nóng)業(yè)部食品安全副部長(zhǎng)通報(bào)最新事件的進(jìn)展。

　　近日美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部宣布召回4012磅牛肉，因?yàn)檫@些牛肉可能含有瘋牛病病毒。截止目前，尚未出現(xiàn)消費(fèi)者食用問題牛肉后感染的報(bào)告。

　　據(jù)報(bào)道，這些牛肉是在2013年9月至2014年4月間生產(chǎn)和包裝，由密蘇里州魯特蘭美國(guó)肉類公司生產(chǎn)，已經(jīng)被送到康州 Whole Foods 的配送中心。

　　Rep. Rosa DeLauro （D-CT） has requested a briefing with Acting Under Secretary for Food Safety Brian Ronholm about recalled beef potentially contaminated with Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy （BSE）， also known as mad cow disease.

　　The Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service （FSIS） announced Wednesday that Fruitland American Meat of Jackson, MO, had issued a recall of approximately 4,012 pounds of fresh beef products because the dorsal root ganglia may not have been completely removed, which is not compliant with agency regulations that require their removal in cattle 30 months of age and older.
