    酒廠的名字“一八”（One Eight）表達了從法律角度對這座城市歷史的認可，即美國憲法的第1章第8節(jié)規(guī)定，設立哥倫比亞特區(qū)作為國家的新首都。一八釀酒廠主要生產(chǎn)和銷售伏特加、白威士忌、杜松子酒以及陳釀威士忌。

    WASHINGTON, Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- One Eight Distilling - only the second distillery to open in Washington, D.C. since prohibition - will officially open its doors on Saturday, January 10, 2015, offering public tours, sampling, and spirit sales from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the distillery's northeast D.C. facilities.
