血糖生成指數(shù)(GI)是衡量碳水化合物質量的指標,依據(jù)飯后血糖升高水平來定義。目前理論是高GI飲食會提高血糖和胰島素濃度,而體內(nèi)稱為類胰島素生長因子(IGF)的荷爾蒙也隨著升高。
研究人員梅爾科尼恩(Stephanie Melkonian)稱,與每日飲食最低GI的人相較,每日最高GI飲食的人,患肺癌風險增加49%。

Specifically, foods with a high glycemic index - such as white bread or bagels, corn flakes and puffed rice - may increase the risk of lung cancer, scientists say.
